This Safari package includes 5 days trip, with drive from Dar es saam to Ruaha National Park, three days safari and Masai traditional visit, camping at Mikumi village on the way back to Dar es salaam. This package is for the people that wants to be in a wildest park and interested in uniqueness.
Trip Highlights
This Itinerary includes a trip from Dar es Salaam, overnight in Iringa Town, two nights inside the Ruaha National Park at the bandas, cultural visit at the village after safari and drive back to Dar es salaam.
After arrival, you will be picked up from entry point and take you to your hotel in Dar es Salaam for having some rest and get ready for the trip next day, the following day you will be picked up early morning ready for driving to Iringa town.
On the way you will pass through Mikumi National Park, you may be able to see few animals there, in Iringa you will visit to the speaking stone “Gangilonga” and other historical sites.
After Ruaha National Park, We will visit a Masai Cultural Activities at Tungamalenga village then drive back to Mikumi Village for dinner and overnight.
The following day you will drive back to Dar essalaam and finish your trip.

RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
Ruaha National Park is the first largest Park in Tanzania and East Africa with the total size 45000 sq km (17000 sq miles) including Usangu Game reserve, Rungwa Game reserve, Kizigo and Muhesi Game reserves and mbomipa wildlife management area . The Name of this National Park came from the Great Ruaha River, which flows through south east margin and it is alongside the game viewing. The park is located 130 km (80. 7783 miles) west of iringa, the distance from Dar es Salaam to Ruaha is 631 km (392.085 miles) There are two airstrips at Msembe and Jongomeru But it is also reached by road and accessible all year round.
What to see
You may have a lot to see in this park, huge groups of African Elephants (it is a home of around 15,000 Elephants), Cheetah, African Leopard, Giraffes, African hunting dogs, Jackals, fox, hippopotamus, warthog, Hyenas, bush baby, lions, crocodiles, A large Agama lizard, monitor lizard, African Buffalo, sable Antelope, lesser and greater Kudu, waterbucks, Klipspringer, porcupine, Zebra, Rock Hyrax, banded mongoose, yellow baboons, vervet monkey, Kirk’s dikdik, bushbuck, impala, grant’s gazelles, Eland, reedbuck, Roan, Wildebeest and more than 570 birds including a large birds such as Crested Eagle, Martial Eagle, cranes, Ostrich, marabou stock and Vultures.

ITINERARY
The trip starts from Dar es salaam and ends in Dar es Salaam.
With a private car/ Jeep made special for Safari, you will be picked up from the hotel, bus station, ferry port or Airport.
Dar es Salaam –Iringa town - Ruaha National Park - Dar es Salaam
Day 00:Pick up from the Ferry port, bus station, or from the airport and drive you to your hotel for having some rest and get ready for the next trip on then following day.
Day 01: Early morning after breakfast departing to Iringa, Lunch en-route, dinner and overnight in Iringa town ( 501 km from Dar es Salaam) approximately 7 to 8 hours.
Day 02: Early morning driving for 130 km and by approximately two hours, and stop for breakfast at the village, then drive for a few minutes to the main gate for the registration before starting the game drive in the Ruaha National Park with a packed picnic lunch.you will have your lunch at the picnic site while having a great view of bushes and animals, dinner and overnight at the bandas.
Day 03: Early morning depart for a Game drive for about 3 hours before coming back for breakfast, after short break for breakfast will go on game drive and lunch en-route at another picnic site.
Day 04: Departing from the Bandas Campsite with an early morning game drive heading outside of the park breakfast en-route, and straight to Maasai cultural activities at the village, maasai will do their normal activities and you’ll be asked to participate on their programs, while singing and jumping, milking, blood sucking and so on. After cultural activities will depart to Iringa town for early lunch and drive to Mikumi village for dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 05: After breakfast will depart back to Dar via Mikumi National Park as transit, and finish the trip in Dar es salaam.
